What is the difference between LAN/WAN and WWW?
When you connect personal computers you have a network of PCs which make up Local Area Network/s (LAN). LANs make up Wide Area Network/s (WAN) and WANs make up the World Wide Web (also known as the Internet). This is a simple but accurate explanation. Within a network you can make certain files and folder available for the public use, some for certain user/s within your LAN, and some restricted from some users. With a well planned Network you are in full control of your data at all times.
